By accessing or using the Recreation Leader website (recreationleader.com), Recreation AI, Pathfinder, Vibe Outside, or any services provided by Recreation Leader LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission. You must provide accurate and complete information to register for an account.
Our Services include outdoor recreation tools (Pathfinder), AI-powered trip planning and information (Recreation AI), community features (Vibe Outside), educational content, and related products.
You retain your rights in the Input you provide. We may use Content to provide, maintain, develop, personalize, and improve our Services. This includes using account profile data, usage logs, and AI conversation data to train, evaluate, and improve Recreation AI.
Recreation Leader uses artificial intelligence to power core features of our Services. Required data use, AI model improvement, third-party processing, account choices, and no sale of data policies apply.
Recreation AI provides AI-generated responses based on government data sources, ranger expertise, and real-time feeds. Always verify critical information — especially permit dates, road closures, and current conditions — with official sources before making decisions.
Some features require a paid subscription (Explorer or Pro). You must provide complete and accurate billing information. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time.
You agree not to use our Services for any unlawful purpose, attempt unauthorized access, abuse or harass others, submit false information, scrape data, or circumvent subscription limits.
All content on Recreation Leader — including text, images, logos, the RESPECT Through Recreation™ framework, the Recreation Leader shield badge logo, and the Central Oregon 360 brand — is the intellectual property of Recreation Leader LLC.
Our Services include data from third-party sources (recreation.gov, NPS, USFS, AirNow, NOAA, ODOT, etc.) and links to external websites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party services.
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recreation Leader LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Outdoor activities carry inherent risks.
You are free to stop using our Services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Deschutes County, Oregon.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our website.
